Short days and long nights herald the party season, so why not take a look below at the selection of mouth-watering dishes we can produce fresh from our kitchen.

We have a Dinner menu for a four-course meal, Finger and Fork buffets with a selection of desserts.

So if you are you having a Christmas Party or a bit of a do” during the festive season, or you need to lighten the load, then why not phone to discuss what we are able to accomplish together, big or small or send an e-mail or fax

Dinner Menu

Make your choice from the following;

Starter

Pumpkin soup, Sweet potato and onion soup, Grilled brie and walnuts or Trout/mackerel pate

Main course 

Fish 

Sea bass with citrus fruits, Salmon with sorrel or watercress sauce {as available} 

Shellfish 

Moules a la marinade, Scallops in the shell 

Meat 

Roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish sauce - Château Briand with a béarnaise sauce Roast turkey, homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce - Pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, with age and onion stuffing and applesauce - Baked gammon with a Cumberland sauce - Roast loin of venison with rosemary and a poached pear and port sauce - Roast duck breast on an apple and potato gratin with black pepper calvados sauce - Roast Duck with orange and Grand Mariner sauce - Roast Pheasant with a port sauce - Roast Goose with caramelised apples. 

All served with appropriate gravies 

Vegetarian

Cheese, rice and vegetable gratin - Vegetarian goulash - Chestnut and mushroom loaf with cranberries - Provencal vegetable stew with chilli roast potatoes 

Side dishes 

Organic seasonal vegetables - Roast beetroot with cheese - Cauliflower and broccoli - French beans with bacon and cream - Glazed carrots with cider - Parsnip and chestnut croquets - Roast potatoes - Gratin dauphinois - A combination of vegetables.

 Desserts

Christmas pudding - Winter fruit compote - Chocolate crepes - Fruit and port - Mango and amaretto strudel - Orange mousse with chocolate sauce - Baked spiced peaches - Burgundy bananas -   All served with fresh cream (optional)

Please choose a selection to suit your taste from the finger or fork winter buffet menu and don’t forget the mouth watering desserts. 

Chicken drumsticks dressed with a spicy sauce - Mini sausage rolls - Scotch eggs - Lamb Tikka on sticks - Hot salt beef on sticks - Garlic sausage with cream cheese - Duck and orange raised pie - Turkey and cranberry raised pie - Mixed game raised pie with cream and apple - Raised vegetarian pie - Blinis with smoked salmon and dill cream -           Mini filled jacket potato - Spicy sun dried tomato pizza wedges - Pastry wrapped chorizo puffs - Quiche, a selection - Bridge rolls served with a selection of toppings

Open sandwiches - garlic with cream cheese, salmon and cucumber, ham, brie and apple, beef and horse radish, hummus and carrot, cream cheese and fruit.

Mixed salad - Filo crackers - Garlic ciabatta - Vegetable croquettes - Vegetable samosas

Cheese board – with local chesses and homemade pate

 

Fork buffet  

Duck and orange raised pie - Turkey and cranberry raised pie - Mixed game raised pie with cream and apple - Raised vegetarian pie - Thai potato crab cakes - Smoked trout pilaff - Garden vegetable terrine - Mini leek and onion tartlets -

Apple and orange coleslaw - Salads, Ham and bulgur wheat, Curried rice, Potato, Green, Russian.

Tomato and basil tart - Potato and lamb kofta with tzatziki - Meatballs in a spicy sauce - Diced chicken Elizabeth - Pork and pineapple with curried sauce - Spanish tortilla

Bridge rolls served with a selection of toppings 

Quiche - mixed pepper, mushroom, cheese and onion, stilton and spinach, trout and tomato, salmon and parsley, quiche lorraine  

  All Served with appropriate sauces and dressings

 

 Desserts

Christmas pudding - Mince pies - Chocolate log - Nutty chocolate torte - Baked spiced peaches  - Lemon roulade - Chocolate ricotta cheesecake - Winter fruit salad served with custard - Toffee apple pudding - Raspberry cheesecake  

Desserts can be served with cream or custard

 Coffee or tea (we have a selection) served with festive ginger bread

 Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
